At this point it's just hilarious how long it's taken me to post my September Fashion Week stuff. Just straight up silly. Anyway, here's the street style. From like five months ago.

The guy on the left kept talking during the photo (I went up to them and asked for a photograph and the woman complied and smiled but the man was being all snarky and rude about it). 

I'd wear those pants every day if I owned 'em. 

That's like the Harley Davidson of all bicycles.

An Explanation

I believe I owe all of you guys an explanation as to why I've been such a lazy blogger these past few months. As a writer, I know that sometimes, words are not enough. That's why things like karaoke and GIFs were created. So, those are the mediums I have chosen to express my thoughts. I think these two pieces of evidence provide a realistic representation of my mental state and thus an explanation for my lackadaisical behavior.


[A bit of background: I was playing Disney Sing It on my Wii and completely ignoring the fact that I couldn't really breathe/probably shouldn't have been shouting because I had a weird flu shot-induced cold.]

Puppy Love

I never know what I should wear when I go visit my grandparents. The visit entails three hours in a car roundtrip, and minimal physical activity, and eating. How does one dress for such an event? I usually wear one of the same two dresses--tried and true for every family event ever, they must think I only own those two dresses and that's it--but last weekend I decided to switch it up and put on some real people clothing. Here's some photos my mom took of my outfit when the two of us went on a walk down to the beach with my grandpa and my grandparents' dog.

Okay I know it's really cheesy but my mom got me these keys and ya know what? I think they're really great because no one remembers often enough how important hope, courage, strength, and dreams are. 

My grandparents' adorable puppy, Daisy. She's such a spaznugget.

Modern Design

A little while ago, I received an email about doing a sponsored post with a website called Modern Design. The deal was I'd get a ring made of tungsten and all I had to do was write about it. Obviously, I took the opportunity, because free things--despite what anyone tells you--ROCK. 

After poring over the website for hours trying to pick out the ring I wanted, 'cause decisions suck and everything was pretty and AHHHH, I finally enlisted the help of my mom, my sister, and Lola to give their opinions. I eventually decided on the ring you see pictured below, a badass ring with Roman numerals on it. Roman numerals remind me of a) Harry Potter (not too sure why but they just do) b) ...the ancient Romans.... c) ~intellectualism~ d) antiquity, and I like all those things. They have all been condensed into a piece of jewelry I can wear on my phalange of choice.

My grandma's dining room table served as a perfect platform for my lil photoshoot.

Because I am silly I also threw in the bracelet my mom recently got me.
